This month has been fun!
I’ve had the opportunity to help 3 lovely families decorate for Christmas.
I get the heavier and higher items.
We chat about our Christmas memories, with fondness.
It’s a very sweet time.

When I graduated high school I knew what my career choice would be.
I wanted to work in families homes; caring for their loved ones.
I took a break from home care to teach and drive school bus for a few years; but now I’m back! Its official!
I purchased liability insurance on Nov 8th, 2023.

I’m super excited!🥳

Find something that you love to do and get paid to do it and you will never work a day in your life. 🥰

Today, I had the sweetest visit with a lady; in The Villages.
She has me scheduled for 2.5 hours a week.
My main task is to help her with laundry and help keep her home tidy.
I also, help her transition safely from her scooter to her shower chair and back.
She remembers bouncing back from a few falls when she was younger. Now, however; she does not wish to take the extra risk.

We sit and chat for a little bit while Frank Sinatra songs played softly in the back ground. When she talks about the past I almost feel like I was there with her.

Arrived at work….in The Villages…

He had a step ladder set up in the kitchen when I arrived.
He said, “My kids don’t want me using this🪜thing. Would you help me set my clock back?” 🕰️

Later…when I told his daughter, (in Virginia) she was SOOO greatful that I had been available for a visit.

He is scheduled for a visit every two weeks.😊
