In honor of we have completely overhauled our manufacturing facility and converted our kilns into flash freezers.

It's hot out there, and nothing makes a bar of chocolate melt faster than an 8 hour ride in a stifling tractor trailer. 🥵

Flash freezing the bricks to -1000 degrees Fahrenheit ensures the chocolate won't melt in transit.

Sunglasses + Marbles + Plastic Spoons = an unforgettable IPC Training experience.

Recently our entire Mitchell Sawmill team enjoyed a thorough and creative training session related to the new upgrades and other changes taking place at the mill.

Lead by our COO Jay Wiegand and Reinaldo Santiago DeJesus, our Training and Safety Coordinator, team members participated in an exercise designed to simulate the flow of wood materials through the mill, utilizing marbles of various sizes and other props. One of our core changes revolves around shifting our mindset from simply operating "fast" to operating smooth and productive.

As you can see from the pictures it was anything but dull. If you're training sessions are BORING it's on you 😏

We've got some BIG improvements underway at our Mitchell Indiana sawmill!

As part of our commitment to Deliver the Difference to our customers, we are constantly seeking new and innovative ideas that will improve efficiency, enhance safety and provide an all around better experience for both our customers and our team members.

While we can't disclose all of our secrets 🤫 we can assure you these upgrades will increase our production capacity and allow our Mitchell team to operate much more efficiently in the months and years to come.

Actually, if you buy from us, they are. And if you don't, they could be! Two things you should know about us:

1: We love supporting organizations doing big things in the community.
2: Never threaten us with a good time.

This colorful bunch of characters is from our Mitchell sawmill taking part in an 80's night fundraiser in support of a local women's shelter.
