That last part especially means a lot to us. Technology is what we provide, but taking care of people is what we want to be known for. 😊

UpLync Communications is looking for an Installation & Support Technician to join our Lafayette team.

Do you enjoy figuring out how things work, solving problems, and working directly with customers? Would you rather have some variety in your day than sit behind a desk doing the same thing over and over? You may be a great fit for our team.

We’re looking for someone who:

🔧 Enjoys hands-on technical work
💻 Understands networking, Ethernet wiring, routers, and switches
🧠 Can troubleshoot problems without relying on a script
🤝 Communicates clearly and patiently with customers
✅ Is dependable, organized, and comfortable managing their day
🪜 Doesn’t mind climbing ladders, working outdoors, or getting into tight spaces

This role combines phone and internet installations with Tier 1 technical support. One day, you might install a new phone system. The next, you could mount internet equipment, run cable, train a customer, or solve a support issue.

We provide a company vehicle and fuel card, three weeks of paid time off to start, and full benefits from day one.
