The Louisiana State Police Crime Laboratory is entering its final stages, with significant progress continuing throughout the building and across the site. Crews are completing flooring, interior wall panels, laboratory casework, MEP trim-out, high-density storage systems, and finishes throughout training rooms, offices, and specialized laboratory spaces. Outside, landscaping, drainage, irrigation, and preparations for EV chargers are also underway. With each milestone, the project moves closer to turnover and delivering a facility designed to support and advance the critical work of the Louisiana State Police.

Building Edgard’s next chapter 📚🚧

LEMOINE is serving as Construction Manager at Risk for St. John the Baptist Parish Library’s new Roland Borne, Sr. Memorial Library.

With demolition beginning in July, our team is now moving through construction toward substantial completion in Summer 2027. The new library is being designed as more than a place for books. It will offer spaces for children and teens, community meetings, technology and creativity, while also providing added resiliency to support the community following a disaster.

We’re excited to see this new community resource take shape and proud to be part of its story.

Recently, members of our LEMOINE team met with managers and senior leadership from the Alabama Emergency Management Agency (AEMA) to kick off our new partnership supporting the agency's disaster preparedness, response, recovery, and resilience efforts.

Together, the AEMA and LEMOINE teams discussed activation and coordination procedures, shared insights on emerging challenges, and explored how we can strengthen readiness before disasters occur and support recovery when they do.

We're grateful for the opportunity to partner with AEMA and look forward to helping Alabama's communities prepare for, respond to, and recover from future disasters.

A historic milestone was reached at the new Our Lady of Wisdom Catholic Church on the University of Louisiana at Lafayette campus. The LEMOINE team successfully hoisted and set the 44.5-foot steeple atop the McElligott Family Bell Tower using a 300-ton crane. Crowned with its 13.5-foot cross, the completed tower reaches 145 feet above the ground, creating a new landmark that will call students home to the Church.

Crafted by Campbellsville Industries in Campbellsville, Kentucky, and delivered on two 18-wheelers, the steeple pays homage to the original steeple that served Our Lady of Wisdom for the past 84 years. Like the existing facility, the new bell tower physically connects the church and student center while also serving as a staircase to the student center’s second floor.

This milestone was the result of tremendous planning, coordination and teamwork, marking an exciting step forward as the new home of Our Lady of Wisdom continues to take shape.
