A sister company to HearthPR, Bird’s Word is run by three publicists who are also powerful traditional musicians. Sabra Guzmán is a renowned old-time and country singer and bass player, who’s toured and played with Old Buck, The Mercury Dimes, Old S
ledge, and currently fronts a honky-tonk ensemble called The Get Rights. Chas Justus is the guitarist for powerhouse Louisiana roots band The Revelers, who blend swamp pop and Cajun dancehall music. Roger Kash is a longtime music industry insider and radio DJ at KRVS based in Lafayette. Sabra, Chas, and Roger founded Bird’s Word PR to bring you the most cutting-edge traditional music, and to bring you the stories behind this music.
