Maitake has become one of my favorite mushrooms- besides the many, many health benefits, the texture is the best. Fine dining restaurants often find it's popular when they add it to their pizza. Saute'ed with butter and garlic then added to a pasta, protein, or sauces is common and delicious! You can order fresh or dried/powered for easier delivery.
