FREE live concerts in downtown Lafayette on Friday evenings in June: June 5, 12, & 26, 6pm-8pm.

Bring a blanket or chairs and get take-out or bring a picnic.

June 5: Jimbo Scott and Yesterday’s Biscuits,
June 12: The Kyle Athayde Dance Party,
June 26: Lamorinda Idol Finalists,

Please note, there will not be a concert on the Friday, June 19 holiday (Juneteenth National Independence Day).

Bands perform 6 pm-8 pm. Bring your own: chairs/blanket/jackets and air guitars. Bands, activities, and weather are subject to change!

Join us in Lafayette Plaza Tuesday, May 19 during the Taste of Lafayette for music by Generations in Jazz and New You Dance Center!

Tickets are sold out but non-ticket holders are welcome to enjoy the free music in the Lafayette Plaza 5pm-7pm on Tuesday, May 19. Guests may bring outside food and non-alcoholic beverages; however, no outside alcohol is permitted to be brought into the Plaza in accordance with our ABC event license. Bring a picnic and/or purchase beverages at the Plaza Bar.

Celebrating 5 Years with the Lafayette Chamber!

"A little over 2 years ago, I received a text message from my friend Jenn Mecham in the strength community, whom I hadn't spoken to for about two years. It simply said, "Hey, I'm selling my gym, and I just thought you should know." Jenn and I met through my work in the strength community, serving the Bay Area and Northern California with strongman competitions and trainings. After she started her gym Unbound Training Co, a few of her members wanted to compete in a strongman competition, so they reached out to attend one of my weekly training sessions. The connection was meant to be. After that, Jenn invited me to her gym to teach a class for members interested in learning strongman who couldn't attend my weekly weekend training session. What Jenn didn't know when she sent me that text about selling her gym was that I had just made the decision to retire from strongman. Her text message indicated that Lafayette, CA, was clearly the next space for me to grow roots in and serve.

"While buying the gym, Jenn directed me to the Lafayette Chamber as a community resource. Although I've only been building my business and serving the Lafayette community under the umbrella of Beasts Of The Bay Strength Gym for almost two years, I'm extremely grateful for Jenn and the Unbound Training Co, the community that came before me, and for the relationship with the Lafayette Chamber, which continues to be instrumental in building the business and serving the community at large."

Celebrating 35 Years with the Lafayette Chamber!

Town Hall Theatre Company of Lafayette has been part of the fabric of the local arts community since 1944. As Contra Costa County’s oldest continuously active theatre company, Town Hall has long served as a gathering place where artists, students, families, and audiences come together through live performance, education, and shared experience.

That legacy has always been rooted in community support. Generations of audiences, donors, families, volunteers, and local partners have helped keep the Hall alive as a place for storytelling, learning, and connection. Partnerships with organizations like the Lafayette Chamber help sustain the work happening on Town Hall’s stage and in its classrooms, while preserving this beloved Lafayette landmark for the next generation.

Today, Town Hall Theatre continues to be a home for local theatre, special events, youth education, and community connection. Whether returning after many years or walking through the doors for the first time, audiences are invited to experience what is happening at the Hall and help keep local theatre thriving in Lafayette.
