Thank you, Class of 2026. I wish you all the best. You are at such a special time in your life. There’s so much ahead of you, so many dreams to chase, and maybe even new dreams waiting for you to discover along the way. This is the best time to learn more about yourself and figure out what truly brings you joy. Don’t be scared to change directions or start over. It’s okay to not know exactly what you want, and it’s also okay to change your mind, whether that’s your profession, your passion, or the path you thought you were supposed to take. Life changes, and so do people. I hope your life is full of happiness, excitement, and people who truly love and support you. Always remember how loved you are, and never forget that you have people cheering you on through every stage of life. And to the parents, I know it’s hard. It’s not selfish to wish your babies could stay little forever or stay close to home. But because of all the love, encouragement, and support you’ve given them, they’ll have the confidence to go out into the world and chase every dream they’ve always wanted. And no matter where life takes them, they’ll always need you, and they’ll always have a place to come home to. Thank you all for letting me capture such beautiful moments in your lives. Being able to witness these milestones and document such special memories will always be one of the greatest honors of what I do. I truly feel so lucky to do this job and meet so many kind people along the way.

My beautiful .burleigh ✨
The day of Rhyan’s photoshoot, the weatherman didn’t say anything about rain. We showed up to the location and it was pouring. Everything was already booked, and Rhyan had her hair and makeup done. I didn’t want all that effort to go to waste, and we were also on a time crunch, so I asked if she would be comfortable continuing. It was only supposed to rain for about an hour and then stop. Rhyan trusted me and stayed so calm about it. We worked around the rain and kept shooting. Every photoshoot is different, and this is one I’ll always remember. People compliment the shoot, and I appreciate it, but I wish they could have seen the conditions we were working in. We made the best of it, and it turned into something really beautiful. But then again, look at the subject. How could there be a bad photo of Rhyan?

Now that things are slowing down and I can finally catch my breath, it’s time to share the beautiful photos I’ve been working on. I’m so excited to show them.
I’ve always said that if I ever stop getting excited about photography, that’s when I need to step away. I never want to lose the love I have for it. The stress of deadlines and feeling overwhelmed wasn’t good for my mental health, so I took a little break from social media and my phone for a few weeks.
Things are slowly getting back to normal. I’m finishing up a few galleries, and that wraps up the Class of 2026.
Before I start planning for the Class of 2027, I want to take some time to reset and ease back into things. I’m so thankful to be living a life I once dreamed of. There was a time when I didn’t have work, and now I’m busy in the best way, and I don’t take that for granted. Going into next year, I’ll be a little more mindful with my schedule so I can continue giving my best to each of you.

Ava was my first senior I photographed in 2026. There’s a superstition that how you start is how you end, and if that’s true, I’m feeling really good about this season. Ava was easy breezy, and the energy of that first shoot really set the tone. The lighting was beautiful, and I couldn’t have asked for a better subject.

There are so many gorgeous shoots coming. I know all my babies are patiently waiting for their photos. I promise they are coming, and I am working my butt off to get them to y’all. It will be worth the wait. Promise!

I am so excited to start sharing more of my gorgeous 2026 seniors. I truly love being a small part of these kids’ lives. Senior year is such a meaningful milestone, a time filled with dreams, growth, and the beginning of something new. I’m so thankful to capture these moments for them and their families, and my hope is that 10 to 20 years from now they will look back at these photos and feel everything all over again, the excitement, the freedom, and who they were at this exact point in life, because they will never be this young again. Being able to witness and be part of such an important time in their lives means so much to me.

Chúc Mừng Năm Mới 🧧 Happy Lunar New Year

This year is the Year of the Horse, and in that spirit, I wish everyone mã đáo thành công.

It is an old Vietnamese phrase often shared during Tết to wish friends and family success in the year ahead. It means “when the horse returns, it returns victorious.” In the past, horses symbolized speed, strength, and the joy of good news coming home after a long journey or battle. In English, mã đáo thành công is simply a wish for great success in all that you do this year.

In the spirit of the horse, I hope you chase your dreams with courage, trust your path, and find freedom in following your heart. May luck and happiness meet you along the way.

A new year is a new beginning. A chance to reset, to believe again, and to keep going even when the road feels long. Here’s to new hope, fresh starts, and another day to chase after your dreams.
