The 2026 Louisiana Regular Legislative Session adjourned sine die on Monday, June 1, officially concluding the three-month term which began on March 9.

Our team worked tirelessly to advocate for our clients and ensure they were informed and abreast of all issues in the rapidly changing environment. This session focused on a wide-range of legislation including workforce issues, education, state budget, economic development, and redistricting.

Members of our team welcomed clients and leadership to this annual event, which includes moderated panels on topics including workforce, education, transportation, and economic development. Governor Jeff Landry is also scheduled to address the group.

TPG recently attended and sponsored the Employer Coalition of Louisiana's 2026 Annual Spring Forum in New Orleans. The forum provided an opportunity for stakeholders and leaders from across the state to discuss advancing healthcare policy, addressing rising costs, and strengthening patient advocacy. Louisiana Department of Health Secretary Bruce Greenstein participated in a featured "Fireside Chat" on Louisiana's healthcare landscape. The Employer Coalition of Louisiana is an initiative of TPG client Louisiana Health Care Quality Forum.

Governor Jeff Landry thanked Cheniere for their investment and commitment to Louisiana. FERC Commissioner David LaCerte also thanked Cheniere for their commitment to the state and helping supply the global demand for energy.
