Today our Kona Ice family asks for your prayers for Calvin Neely, “The Kona Man” and leader as he undergoes open heart surgery. ❤️

For over 13 years, he has loved serving this community, bringing smiles, shaved ice, and joy to so many families, schools, churches, and events. Now it’s our turn to support him during this time.

He will be recovering over the next several weeks, so we ask for your patience and understanding. During his recovery, please contact Jessica or Heather for any Kona Ice needs, bookings, or questions.

We know he’ll be back in the Kona truck doing what he loves as soon as he’s able. Thank you all for the prayers, love, and support for our Kona Ice family during this time. 🙏💙🍧

Each May, our nation comes together to honor the courage, sacrifice and dedication of law enforcement officers. Originally established by presidential proclamation President John F. Kennedy in 1962, National Police Week includes Peace Officers Memorial Day on May 15th and a week of observances recognizing officers who given their lives in the line of duty, as well as those who continue to serve and protect our communities with dedication and courage.

​National Police week is both a time of solemn remembrance and a celebration of the men and women who serve with integrity and bravery every day. It reminds us that behind every badge is a story of service, sacrifice and family.
