We were called out to an Orange County property to investigate an exterior water-intrusion issue. By checking the exterior and tracing the moisture, we were able to locate the entry point and determine what mitigation and repairs were actually needed.

A leaking shower pan? Not this time.

We were called to this Irvine home after plumbers and another restoration company believed the shower pan was leaking.

Instead of assuming, we water tested the shower and isolated the actual source: a gap in the tiled shower seat was allowing water to get behind the tile and into the surrounding materials.

Once we identified the real problem, the area could be properly sealed, dried and remediated without putting the homeowner through an unnecessary shower pan replacement.

Finding the source first can save a homeowner thousands in unnecessary repairs.
