Welch Site Work & Asphalt Paving is looking to add an experienced, dependable Heavy Equipment Operator to our crew.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Heavy equipment operation
• Finish grading experience
• Front-end loader operation
• Site work and dirt work experience
• Class A CDL preferred
• Asphalt paving experience is a BIG PLUS — willing to train the right person
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be dependable, hardworking, and able to work well with a crew
• Must take pride in producing quality work and be prompt.

💰 Pay is based on experience and probation window

⏰ Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

We’re looking for someone who shows up, works hard, and wants to be part of a growing company.

🚧 Fresh Asphalt in Lake City, FL! 🚧

Another project completed by Welch Site Work & Asphalt Paving in Lake City!

Our crew completed a 3,500 sq. ft. asphalt driveway, starting with the proper foundation and finishing it off with a clean, smooth surface:

• Limerock base installation
• Grading and proper preparation
• Rolling and compaction
• Fresh asphalt paving
• Clean, smooth finished driveway

While we were working in the subdivision, another homeowner stopped by and asked if we could take care of an additional problem near their driveway. Construction truck traffic had left approximately 52 feet of the main roadway damaged with large holes and rough areas.

Our crew was able to cut out the damaged section, properly prepare the area, and install fresh asphalt, leaving them with a much smoother and cleaner entrance to their property.

Job completed in Alachua, Florida! 🚧

Our crew helped this customer prepare their property for future development, including new Airbnb homes planned for the site. We established the groundwork in place now so they’ll have a solid foundation for what’s to come.

This project included:

• Clearing and preparing the designated areas
• Installing and grading a lime rock base for the future Airbnb sites
• Asphalt paved driveway leading to the main residence
• Installing a new culvert with concrete mitered ends for proper drainage
• Finishing the area with fresh sod for a clean, professional appearance

⚾ GETTING THE FIELDS READY FOR BASEBALL SEASON IN OCALA! ⚾

The Naturals baseball fields in Ocala, Florida were in need of some serious attention, with areas of the infield clay having over a 1-foot drop that needed to be brought back up, leveled, and properly graded before the upcoming season.

A big thank you to Andrews Site Prep for generously donating all of the clay needed for TWO fields! 👏

Once the material was delivered, Welch Site Work & Asphalt Paving brought in the equipment and got to work. Our crew spread and graded the new clay, brought the low areas back up, leveled the playing surfaces, and cleaned everything up to help get these fields ready for the players to take the field this season.

We’re proud to work alongside other local businesses and give back to the communities and youth programs that mean so much to our area. We hope the Naturals have a great baseball season! ⚾💪

Another Friday Crew Job Site COMPLETED! 🚜✅

Another crew is wrapping up a project in The Groves in Lake Butler, Florida!

This property received a major backyard transformation with the demolition and removal of an existing in-ground pool. Once the pool was removed, our crew brought in clean fill dirt, properly filled, graded, and leveled the area to create a fresh, usable pad for the homeowners.

Now they have a clean slate and plenty of new backyard space to enjoy for family activities, entertaining, and future plans!

And there’s more to come at this residence—a new pond is planned for the property, and we’re looking forward to returning for the next phase. 🚜

Happy Friday from Welch Site Work & Asphalt Paving! 🚜

It’s been another busy week with multiple projects underway, and here’s a look at just one of the jobs our crew is working on in Alachua, Florida!

On this project, we’re installing new culverts, improving water shedding and drainage, and laying down fresh lime rock to create a solid base and get everything ready for fresh asphalt Monday morning!

While this crew gets this driveway ready for paving, we have other projects moving right along across the area. We’re thankful for another full schedule and the opportunity to keep helping our customers improve their properties. 💪

From site preparation and drainage to the final layer of asphalt, we take pride in doing it right from the ground up.
