Please join us in welcoming Geurt Boshuizen as Vice President of Operations, Citadel Aviation Dallas.
Geurt brings more than 36 years in aviation maintenance and production leadership to our Dallas site, where he will lead all site operations, safety, quality, schedule, financial performance, and the teams that deliver them.
He joins us after 11 years with Gulfstream Aerospace, where he most recently served as Senior Operations Manager for the Savannah Customer Support Service Center and previously as General Manager of the Van Nuys and Long Beach service centers, holding accountability for West Coast operations across safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and P&L. Before Gulfstream, he managed heavy maintenance planning and ex*****on at TIMCO/HAECO, led MRO software implementations for five major airline accounts at EmpowerMX, and supervised heavy base maintenance at US Airways in Charlotte.
Geurt began his career in the United States Marine Corps as a CH-46E crew chief, quality assurance inspector, and flight evaluator serving as an aerial gunner during the Gulf War and was among the first Marines selected to help develop the V-22 Osprey tiltrotor program. He holds a degree in Applied Science, Aviation Maintenance Technology from Eastern New Mexico University, an A&P certificate with a current Inspection Authorization, and a pilot certificate.
Geurt’s depth in heavy maintenance, his instinct for building teams, and a genuine passion for the VIP segment will serve our strategy, our operation, and most importantly our customers extremely well.
