As sad as it is that Ultimate has closed for good, I’m here to update that I’ll be tattooing at Iron Cypress and can take care of all of your tattooing needs there 🙂

*My hours will be Monday-Friday 10am-6pm.
Saturday appointments are only available for larger pieces (4 hours minimum).

*Pricing will be the same as before- $100 minimum, set pricing on single session designs, hourly rate on multi-session tattoos.

*I will be emailing all appointments that have had to be rescheduled due to the hurricanes between today and tomorrow, please be patient!

*To book a tattoo appointment, you just need to email me the following info:

*Any reference photos you may have (between 2-4)
*Size (in inches)
*Placement
*Color or blackwork
*budget
*general availability
*If it’s a coverup, a photo of what needs to be covered

*Please do *not* try to book via fb. I do not have fb messenger on my phone anyway, so chances are, I won’t see it.

*As always, I will need a non-refundable booking fee to book an appointment.
I’ll attach a blank copy of the booking fee policy for you to look over before any money is exchanged, that way you know what happens with your non refundable booking fee. You don’t have to do anything with the form, once we have you scheduled and your fee on the books, I will fill it out for you with your appointment information and send it back to you for your records.

So, with a heavy heart, I’m here to say that ultimate will be closing it’s doors for good.

It had a good run. 25 years and one of the longest running shops in lake Charles. I’ve done my best over the past few months to keep it going, and was pretty successful with it. Then, the hurricane hit.

What hope I had of reopening the doors and getting back to business quickly were lost as talk of tearing down and rebuilding began. At this point, it’s kinda up in the air if the building is gonna be torn down or not, but it’s highly probable.

This shop was Jeff’s baby, and as much as I tried to keep it going for him after he was gone, fate had different plans. I’ve personally never wanted to work anywhere else in Lake Charles, and it was awesome being able to run it briefly. But... if it’s not this storm that takes it out, something else prolly will. It’s an old building and it’s been around lake Charles for awhile. A lot of memories have been made in that building.

Ultimately, even if I could get the shop going temporarily, I’m not sure if I could honestly handle
losing it again when the next hurricane comes.

I wanna say thank you to everyone that had made ultimate image great by coming and getting awesome work done by artists there over the years. We appreciate you Lake Charles!!!

It’s time to end to this chapter, and start a new one. I will be moving out of state and Britni will be informing y’all where to find her.

For anyone who has left deposits with me, I will be doing guest spots in the future. Your deposit will go towards your tattoo still. Scheduling Has been kinda weird all year, so hopefully my clients will be understanding.

This storm has done a number and Lake Charles will never be the same.

This has been the craziest year ever to inherit a business. But I know that we are gonna make it.

So, as most of y’all have seen, Ultimate Image took some damage from hurricane Laura. I got back in town Thursday afternoon and started boarding up the front where the windows shattered.

It’s not an easy thing to do... hanging 4x8 sheets of plywood by yourself with a hammer and some framing nails, but by 9:30 it was complete.

We have a lot of rebuilding to do before we are a functional shop again, but I can promise you that I will do everything I can to make it happen. I may be doing a lot of it by myself, but the work won’t stop till it’s done or it’s just financially impossible to complete.

Britni will be tattooing out of Lafayette, and Casey has essentially announced his departure. I understand where he is coming from, and I 100% wish him the best on his journey.

As mentioned earlier, I won’t be leaving and have no plan to ever give up on this goal to get ultimate image back to what it was.

As soon as I am able to resume appointments, I will let you know, via this page. Until then, keep our shop and everyone else who was devastated by the storm in your thoughts.
