Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Laborer to join our construction team. This position plays a vital role in assisting various projects by performing essential tasks to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow on-site. As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for supporting skilled tradesmen and other crew members, contributing to the overall success of our construction endeavors. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be tasked with various labor-intensive activities that require physical stamina, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols. Responsibilities
Assist skilled tradespeople as needed to facilitate project completion.
Perform general site clean-up and maintenance duties to ensure a safe working environment.
Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment onto and from trucks and storage areas.
Follow instructions in completing assignments, including moving materials and setting up work areas.
Participate in the assembly and disassembly of scaffolding, forms, and other temporary structures.
Operate basic hand tools and power equipment as required for various tasks.
Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to supervisors promptly.
Requirements
*High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
*Previous experience in construction or a labor-related field is a plus
*Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
*Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is advantageous
*Strong commitment to safety practices and procedures
*Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team
*Good communication skills and a positive attitude in the workplace

Job Type: Full-time
Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00/hour - paid weekly
