It’s been 25 years ago today, a quarter century, and our hearts still break for not only the victims and the first responders that never made it home from the 9/11 attacks, but also for every person and every family who was affected by this horrific day in our great American history.
Something we can hold true to, and reflect on, is the hours, the days, and the months after, when there was no competition, there were no departments, there were no “not my party” talks, there was only Americans. Neighbor helping neighbor, people checking on their people, and reaching out a helping hand wherever they could. That’s the America we choose to live in, despite the evil of this world that rears its ugly head regularly.
Hold your people tight today, tell them how much they mean to you, and never forget the 2,977 victims who were just doing what they do. 🇺🇸
