🦫 Well... that’s one way to deliver a fundraising report.

Lake Fork Valley Conservancy board member John Coy showed up to this year’s Forest Feast dressed as “Bob the Beaver”, complete with buck teeth and the parting words, “nice gnawing you.” 😂

The fun had a serious purpose. This year’s Forest Feast raised more than $50,000 to support the Conservancy’s environmental work, while guests also learned about beaver habitat and the important role beavers can play in wetlands, drought and wildfire resilience.

We’ve got a peek at the story online, but there’s much more in this week’s Silver World, including the local habitat numbers, fundraising breakdown and photos from the evening.
