Every opportunity I get, I talk about being a doula and my mission to help bring awareness and support to those who are postpartum.

My journey to become a certified doula began a year ago. I was on a girls trip and I told them it was my dream. With encouragement, I signed up for and completed my certification with BEST Doula Training in 2022.
I spent a year contemplating what the journey looks like for me. I’ve had the answer for a while. I’m ready to speak about it publicly.
I believe we are our best selves when we are our authentic selves.
My best self is a communicator, speaker and advocate. What does that mean? I’ve developed a roadmap that will put us on a path back to community.
Within this community, we support, heal and nurture one another.
But first, we need to embrace and understand we were never meant to travel this road to birth and postpartum alone.

How do you feel about co-sleeping?
I slept in the same bed or same room with all of my babies.
This one was my last one and he slept with me until he was 6 months. I woke up one day and told his dad it was time for the baby to move to his crib.
Did you co-sleep?
Why or why not?
