A trivia game that tested members’ knowledge of NAWIC’s rich history while bringing plenty of fun and friendly competition.

Last week marked Construction Safety Week 2026, an industry-wide initiative dedicated to reducing injuries and fatalities across construction job sites nationwide.

The final day of Safety Week was attended by our team member Kaila at the Herzog Larison JV Berth 302–305 project at the Port of LA to support the field team and recognize the importance of maintaining a strong, proactive safety culture.

This year’s theme, “All In Together,” centered around three key pillars tied to preventing serious injuries and fatalities:

• Recognize

• Respond

• Respect

Safety Week serves as an important reminder that creating safer job sites requires participation at every level — from leadership and safety professionals to field crews and trade partners.

Proud to be part of Construction Safety Week (May 4–8, 2026)! 🚧

Our team had a great time at the LAWA ADG/Contractor’s Safety Week Kickoff, connecting with industry partners and reinforcing what matters most—keeping workers safe on every job site.

We hosted a booth where we shared insights, answered questions, and talked all things safety training and compliance. It was great to see so many professionals committed to building a stronger safety culture.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and engaged with us—we appreciate the conversations and the shared commitment to safety excellence.

A special shout out to Larry Turner at Hensel Phelps for the special invite. Larry did an amazing job emceeing and organizing this event.
