At ehsInc we're proud to support this year's NAWIC Orange County Chapter #91 "Building Careers and Community" — and everything this incredible organization stands for. 🏗️

What an unforgettable night celebrating the installation of new members aboard a dinner cruise over Newport Beach Harbor — good food, great company, and beautiful views to match!

A special congratulations to our very own Marjorie Del Toro and Corrie Chan on their board positions this year! We couldn't be prouder to watch them step up as leaders and make their mark.

Here's to another year of building each other up.

There's a couple hundred dollar version of this problem and a $200,000 version of this problem.

They're the same problem. The only variable is how long it was left until addressed.

Sometimes the most cost-effective fix in safety is doing it right now instead of letting it sit.

A little look back at a fun event this last month we got to be a part of!

Four days, one incredible crew of future tradeswomen, and SO much sawdust at Camp NAWIC 2026!

This year's campers laced up their boots, suited up in hi-vis, and dove headfirst into electrical, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and everything in between — building skills (and a whole lot of confidence) alongside pros from NAWIC Orange County Chapter #91 and Associated Builders and Contractors of Southern Calif

Huge thanks to Lisa Thibodeaux, Kris Georgeson, our ABC trainers, volunteers, and every parent who sent their camper to be a part of this awesome event.

Here's to the next generation of builders, electricians, and site leaders! Construction has never looked so good 👷‍♀️

We obsess over the harness and the rope — inspected, tagged, logged every morning. The anchor gets a glance and a shrug.

Flip that. Pick your anchor points before boots hit the roof, mark them, write them down. Two minutes of planning beats whatever's closest.

A harness can save your life in a fall — and still end it minutes later. ⚠️

OSHA is clear: suspension in a fall-arrest device can lead to unconsciousness and death in under 30 minutes. Not from the fall. From just... hanging there.

Ask yourself right now:

-Who's getting him down?
-What gear are they using?
-Where is that gear RIGHT NOW?
-How long does it take?

If you don't have answers, you don't have a plan.

Raising the bar in Reno! 🏗️

We are so grateful to have been part of National Association of Women in Construction Annual Conference last week.

Getting in a room with this many incredible women in construction never gets old.

Left feeling recharged, inspired, and full of new ideas after connecting with leaders who are pushing our industry forward.

Already looking forward to next year!

6 feet of fall protection can't stop a 6-foot fall.

Rope: 6 ft.

Deceleration pouch: 4 ft.

Your body below the D-ring: 5 ft.

Plus margin.

That's ~19 ft of empty air you need — and the rule says clip in at 6.

Clipped in, doing everything right, and you can still hit the floor.

Today marks the start of Safe + Sound Week (Aug 10-16) — Occupational Safety and Health Administration nationwide push to recognize and strengthen workplace safety and health programs.

Whether you're on a job site, in a warehouse, or leading a team anywhere in between — this is the week to pause, check in on your safety culture, and recognize the people who keep it running.

Over 4,600 businesses took part last year.

3 ways to jump in:

→ Commit to taking action this week

→ Grab free resources and activity ideas from OSHA

→ Recognize your team's effort — download your certificate when you're done

The cost of poor air quality rarely shows up as one big event. It shows up as a slow accumulation — more sick days, more turnover, more people who just aren’t at their best.

By the time it’s obvious, it’s usually expensive. Ventilation gaps and hidden contaminants don’t stay small on their own — they compound.

The companies that get ahead of this treat it like any other investment: cheaper to address early than to fix after it’s already cost them.
