Here’s a preview:
"Engage, empower and enable your people. CEOs and other C-suite leaders can do much more to address inefficiencies and break through barriers, but they can’t do everything. Therefore, it’s critical to build alignment between leaders and employees around priorities for change and to build a culture of trust so employees feel safe to propose better ways of doing things. Start by identifying gaps between the views of leaders and workers...To build trust, start with transparency and invite employees to play an active role in reinvention. Consider citizen-led innovation, an approach that helps employees build skills and apply them right away. Also: redesign career paths around skills, not jobs, so employees have more agency and opportunity as jobs change."
In short, focus on building a culture of growth partners.
