Brigham Young University's new College of Fine Arts building was designed to foster collaboration among musicians, performers and visual artists in a dynamic, high-performance learning environment.
With multiple performance, rehearsal and instructional spaces operating simultaneously, controlling sound transfer while maintaining accessibility and aesthetics was a key challenge.
To help address these requirements, Noise Barriers installed QuietSlide® Horizontal Sliding Doors and QuietSwing® Architectural Heavy-Duty Doors throughout the building to provide large, open access points while delivering the sound control needed for acoustically sensitive environments.
