All art is a work in progress. It’s helpful to see the piece we’re working on as an experiment. One in which we can’t predict the outcome. Whatever the result, we will receive useful information that will benefit the next experiment. If you start from the position that there is no right or wrong, no good or bad, and creativity is just free play with no rules, it’s easier to submerge yourself joyfully in the process of making things. We’re not playing to win, we’re playing to play. And ultimately, playing is fun. Perfectionism gets in the way of fun. A more skillful goal might be to find comfort in the process. To make and put out successive works with ease.

A few behind the scene pics of creating a one of a kind rear fender for a one of a kind build by Mick..

This is a master plug that we will be used to make a mold. The actual fender will be made out of fiberglass.

I had a blast with this project and I can't wait to see it all come together. This is what happens when you just wanna build cool stuff with your friends!

A few weeks ago I saw this wicked cool hubless trike pop up on my reels that looked like it came from the future and the past at the same time. I immediately hit the like button and started following this dude Mick..

That same day we started messaging each other and before I knew it I was given full reigns on creativity to do whatever I wanted and create the last piece to his Mack Trike.

He needed a rear fender to balance out the build. This concept was inspired by a 1917 Mack truck front end.

This is a master plug that will be used to create a mold so we then create the actual fender from fiberglass.

Just need to add a bit more razzle dazzle and we will be ready for a quick mold so we can turn this pile of wood into a usable fiberglass product.

Chopped 2" at the bottom from stock. Will be made for Harley Davidson touring models from years 09-23.5 and will come with its own metal mounting brackets and hardware. Will accept 2014+ lid system.

Happy Sanding Saturday. May not look like much but all the hard part is officially over. I found all the body lines that this fender wanted deep inside all that foam which is always the most time consuming because I'm always fighting the battle of what my ego wants to create vs what the part itself wants to be.

These ideas are not mine, I'm just a transmitter that receives input from another realm and converts into geometry.

The rest of this kit will only take just a few days to complete. This is where my ego steps and can start making templates of the finished half to get the other side mirrored and ready for production.

For those who don't know, still a one-man operation. Every design, mold, order, shipment, email, and product that leaves this shop runs through one person. If I've missed a message along the way, it was never intentional. Most days I'm in the shop building products rather than behind a screen, and I truly appreciate everyone's patience and support.

When Valkyrie launched, it was offered as a preorder to help fund tooling and mold development. Those molds are now nearing completion, which means we're able to reduce the price as Valkyrie moves into production.

Every Valkyrie kit is built to order. With a 3-6 week lead time.
