Toys. We are often asked for suggestions on toy organization. Here are some tips:

1. Narrow down the options for toys even if that means holding back toys until another time.
2. Follow the one (or two) out rule where they are only pulling out one or two activities at a time.
3. Create a space for their toys so they know where to put things when they are done.
4. Transfer activities out of the original boxes and/or match like toys together and put them in a clear bin so that they can easily see what is in them and where they belong.
5. Create labels (picture labels are great for non-readers) to make it clear where things belong.

Organization is a journey, not a destination! When it comes to organizing, take time to understand what you have, purge and create systems that work for you!

A pantry is a great place to start when it comes to organizing. Here are some simple tips on how to do it:

🐝 Pull everything out of the space. Give it a good wipe-down!
🐝 Check expiration dates and toss any expired items…even those spices.
🐝 Sort items by type.
🐝 Place categorized items back into the pantry, utilizing the easy to get to spaces for the more frequently used items.
🐝 Contain and label.

Hi! I’m Krystal, owner of Bee Organized Lake Norman. I am excited to be starting this business because I’m on a mission to help others simplify their lives and create more room for what matters most.

My passion for organizing comes from firsthand experience managing a busy home with young children and a never-ending to-do list. I understand how quickly things can feel out of control.

Creating simple, effective systems made a significant difference in my daily life, and now I help others bring that same structure and ease to their homes.

When I’m not organizing, I’m embracing the everyday rhythm of family life with my husband and our two sweet children in Lake Norman.
