It’s quite the hoot hanging out with the owls on this blustery St. Patrick’s evening. Can you guess where he’ll be nesting soon? This sign is definitely one of my favorites. It’s really coming to life and will be flying the coop soon. Stay tuned and see where he lands.

Sleeping on the job!! It’s tough to find good help these days but I have to admit… I am blessed to have them at work with me. These bitter cold days make it tough to be outside for long.

It’s beginning to look alot like Christmas! Time is moving swiftly and the pups and I are here working like little elves to fill our holiday orders. Please note that Monday, December 15th is the last day we are receiving holiday gift orders. Shippers get bogged down and I can’t guarantee fulfillment if I can’t get product in time. However, if you can’t meet the deadline, there’s always gift certificates…..Maybe someone is getting a print for Christmas and they can come pick out their own frame. A cool sign for your home, man cave, she-shed or business? We offer many different options.

Here’s a follow-up on a post from earlier this Fall. I finished this job a bit before the owner was ready to install it but it’s now up and shining bright! Lots of dimension going on here. I loved this project. You can see those lights from the Olympic skating oval across the street. If it gets too cold out there, stop in at The Penalty Box- play a few games, relax and warm up with a drink and snack from their newly-opened lounge. It’s fun for the entire family!! I do not own the rights to this music.

The beginning of my next fun project. These beautiful cedar and basswood blanks are going to transform into something very cool during the next six weeks. I love working with wood- the grain, the smell as it goes through the saw and sander. It’s like walking in the woods. The grain becomes a thing of beauty when a finish is added. Stay tuned to see what I can make with these blocks of wood. It’s going to be great!!
