When I say I love what I do… it means alot of things. First and foremost, I truly do enjoy going to work everyday. I never know what cool projects are going to come through the door and how fun or challenging they might be. But equally important is the love and passion that goes into these projects and being a part of so many lives. It might be creating a sign for someone’s brand new business and helping make their dream a reality. It might be framing family or vacation photos, a military medal or dog collar that bring constant reminders of special moments in our lives. When I receive messages like this from a customer, it hits me right in the heart and reinforces my dedication to my business. A very large number of my friends started out as customers. As I worked for them through the years I learned so much about them, their families, travels, losses, etc. I take this seriously. It’s a great feeling when people trust you and appreciate you. Thank you, Sue for continuously supporting my small business but most of all, for becoming my friend through all these projects.

The Winter Olympics continue to live on in this village. This is one of the original banners displayed during the 1980 games. It’s 3’x7’…fits perfectly here and is a true party of history! I visited the home to get an idea of the style and chose something clean and complimentary to the design of the home. It makes my day when a customer leaves happy!

I’m at the shop today, doing what I love and standing on my freedoms that I get to enjoy, because I’m an American and…I’m grateful! 🇺🇸

I’ve been busy, busy and have fallen behind on posting. I’ll try to catch up some in the next few weeks. In the meantime… I just finished this very cool framing job. It’s an original game from 1935 that someone wanted as a cool memory of her grandmother and playing this game when she was growing up. I am absolutely thrilled when customers come to me with these interesting and challenging projects. Have I told you how much I love what I do everyday?

It’s quite the hoot hanging out with the owls on this blustery St. Patrick’s evening. Can you guess where he’ll be nesting soon? This sign is definitely one of my favorites. It’s really coming to life and will be flying the coop soon. Stay tuned and see where he lands.
