Tell us what your favorite tree and or plant is? Ours is the crape myrtle for a tree! Just like any other tree they start out smal but, over time they will grow up to be as large as 30 feet tall with a limb span of 30 feet creating shade in the summer time. In the winter they become dorment and shed all of their leaves at once so you dont have the messy leaves to pick up all winter. In the spring they begin to get their leaves back after a quick trim and they will develope flowers which will bloom until the next fall. There are five different colors to choose from for your pleasure. Our favorite plant would have to be a bird of paradise! There are two species of this plant...one with a big leaf and one with a small leaf. Theses plants require little maintenance. On the small leaf bird of paradise once a year will either spawn a white or a brilliant orange flower. The big leaf bird of paradise will spawn a white flower. These plants get their name from the flower that it blooms because the flower looks just like a bird! Paradise comes from the plant itself...each plant resembles a small little piece of paradise. Plant enough of these in your back yard around your patio or pool and you wont have to go far to be able to relax in your own tropical get away! Now lets see what you guys all have found to be your favorite plant or tree?
