Welcome to Lake Wales Main Street! Where history meets heart. Every stroll feels like coming home.

Nestled in the heart of our charming city, you will find unique shops, flavorful eats, unforgettable events, and small-town magic. Lake Wales Main Street was formed in 1987 by local residents and businesses to revitalize the downtown district. It was patterned after the National Trust for Historic Preservation Main Street Program. Lake Wales was one of the State of Florida's first recognized Main Street programs.

Halloween Spooktacular is TOMORROW, and it looks like the rain plans to make an early appearance, then disappear just in time for an eerie, foggy night in downtown Lake Wales.

We asked for special effects, and Mother Nature said, “I know a guy.” 🌫️🦇

Grab your costumes, bring your candy bags, and join us from 5–9 PM for a SPOOKTACULAR evening. Fingers crossed the forecast sticks to the script… we’ve already cast the ghosts! 👻🍬
