What word aligns your intentions this year?

Sending positive wishes to all my friends and colleagues who celebrate the Chinese New Year (Lunar New Year) beginning Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

It’s the "Year of the Fire Horse"

🐎 Linked to independence, energy, & forward-motion.
🔥May you utilize this time to bring your energy and determination together in a way where your DREAMS turn into ACTIONS.

The last few years I have aligned my "word of the year" with the Lunar New Year. This year I chose the word TRUST.

Admittedly, trust and patience are not my strongest virtues, and yet if I can humbly learn to lean on these qualities, I will be stronger in the long run and more likely to achieve my dreams.

What word aligns your intentions this year?

Are you a compassionate leader?

I’ve been thinking about the kind of strength that doesn’t always get the spotlight. The strength it takes to care for someone else, even when your own path is unclear.

Like Dorothy in Oz, we all meet “Scarecrows” along the way: unexpected people who turn out to be teammates. What if compassion is the true mark of a victor, not just a helper?

In this month’s newsletter, I share what’s next — including the Month of Compassion we’re bringing to life this fall.
