When I talk to African immigrants, I notice something.
Most of us have done the hard part already.
We left familiar places. Learned new systems. Adapted to different cultures. Took jobs we never imagined we'd do. Started life again from scratch.
Yet many of us are still living month to month emotionally.
You took the risk of leaving home, starting over and building a life in a completely different country.
So why stop there?
I'm not telling you to quit your job but I'm saying give yourself options.
Whether it's your career, your business or balancing both the goal is to create a life that's true to you.
The same courage that got you on a plane can help you learn a new skill, build a digital business and create opportunities that weren't available a generation ago.
Keep this in mind: Your future won't be shaped only by how hard you work.
It will be shaped by what you build.
