It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Donald Dawson, who left us at 2:10 a.m. on September 1, 2026. Donald is one of the meaningful reasons Tri-County has been touched by such strong values today. Through the life he lived and the example he set, he taught his son Justin the importance of hard work, determination, honesty, and serving others with care and pride. As Operations Manager of Tri-County, Justin carries those lessons with him every day in the work he does and the care he shows to those around him.
Donald raised a remarkable son, and his legacy lives on through him—in Justin’s work ethic, his dedication, and the respect he brings to his role at Tri-County. Donald never met a stranger. He was the kind of man who would lend a hand without hesitation, offer support when it was needed most, and put family above all else. He wanted nothing more than the best for the people he loved, and that love continues to be felt through the family and community he helped shape.
Donald Dawson loved the great outdoors and treasured the time he spent hunting and fishing with his family. He was a veteran who loved his country, a father who gave his best, and a grandfather whose grandchildren were among his greatest joys and closest companions. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
We ask that you keep our family in your thoughts and prayers as we grieve the loss of Donald Dawson. May we honor Donald by carrying forward the kindness, strength, work ethic, and love he shared so freely. His name, his lessons, and his impact will remain a part of Tri-County forever.
