The Komptech Crambo 6000 doing what it was built for, shredding contaminated green waste into an easily compactable ~6” minus product that will be aged, screened, and turned into nutrient-dense soil.

This pile is a perfect example of where the Crambo is the right tool over a high-speed horizontal grinder. High content of fines, as well as concrete and rock being mixed throughout the material is a recipe from high wear and potentially damage to a high-speed rotor. The Crambo’s low-speed, high-torque shredding design handles this type of tough, contaminated feedstock with confidence 🪵💥
