The latest cake trend is the "dot" cake, which is a small container cake frosted with buttercream and completely covered with non-pariel rainbow sprinkles! It is trending all over TikTok, and consumers are wanting their cake!

To make this fun creation, bake a vanilla sheet cake (on a cookie sheet). Using a 3" round cookie cutter, cut cake rounds, and ready a 3" round container or jar. Stack the cake rounds in the jar with either filling or buttercream in between each layer until the container is filled to the top, with a final layer of buttercream frosting. Put sprinkles in a bowl, then take your cake container and dip the top so the sprinkles stick. Make sure the top is completely covered. Seal with a clear top! Try this with 4" and 6" cakes!
