Most people undersell themselves on paper without even knowing they're doing it.
Kayleigh came to me convinced she didn't have enough experience to put together a resume that mattered. She's a commercial sales rep, early in her career, and she figured the thin parts would show.
Here's what I actually do, and it's the same instinct I use as an accountant: I go looking for the value that's there but isn't being counted. Then I put it on the page in language a hiring manager recognizes. Kayleigh had plenty to offer β it just needed to be phrased and framed so it read that way.
Her words: "Her insight on how to phrase and display everything made me realize I had a lot to offer even without having much experience. She helped me transform my basic resume to one that stuck out from the crowd."
If your resume feels thin and you're wondering whether it's the reason you're not hearing back, that's the kind of thing I fix. Rewrites or templates depending on where you're at β link in bio.
