⚡ NEC 110.26 working clearance. For equipment operating at 0-150V to ground, what's the minimum depth of clear working space in front of the panel (Condition 1)?

🚨 POV: the inspector just pulled up and the panel's circuit directory is blank.

NEC 408.4 says every circuit has to be clearly identified. It sounds minor. It fails the inspection anyway and it's the kind of detail that turns a clean sign-off into a callback.

☀️ Peak solar season and NEC 705 is where a lot of PV interconnections go wrong. The 120% rule for busbar loading is the single most misapplied part of a back-fed solar install.

Get it wrong and the inspector fails the interconnection, on a job that's otherwise finished. With residential solar booming across WA and OR this summer, it's worth knowing cold.

⚡ A classic that still trips people up — NEC 240.4(D). What's the maximum overcurrent protection allowed for 12 AWG copper, regardless of its ampacity in the table?

🌡️ August heat question — NEC 310.15. Conductors running through a 120°F attic have to be corrected for ambient temperature. Which factor applies before you can call the ampacity good?
