⚑ NEC 110.26 working clearance. For equipment operating at 0-150V to ground, what's the minimum depth of clear working space in front of the panel (Condition 1)?

A, B, C or D answer before you swipe. Working-space violations are cited constantly on WA, OR and ID panel installs usually because the space got ""borrowed"" for storage or a stud wall after the fact.

Our courses cover 110.26 clearances directly. Since 1995. From $35.

⚠️ NEC 2026 is live here are 3 changes that will catch working electricians off guard on inspections in WA, OR, and ID.

Arc flash labels. Battery storage. Load calc article numbers. All changed. All being enforced now.

Our courses are updated to NEC 2026. WA, OR, ID, AK, MT. From $35.

🚨 POV: the inspector just pulled up and the panel's circuit directory is blank.

NEC 408.4 says every circuit has to be clearly identified. It sounds minor. It fails the inspection anyway and it's the kind of detail that turns a clean sign-off into a callback.

The small stuff is what gets cited. Our courses are built from real field gaps, not textbook theory. WA, OR, ID, AK, MT. From $35. No classroom. Since 1995.

β˜€οΈ Peak solar season and NEC 705 is where a lot of PV interconnections go wrong. The 120% rule for busbar loading is the single most misapplied part of a back-fed solar install.

Get it wrong and the inspector fails the interconnection, on a job that's otherwise finished. With residential solar booming across WA and OR this summer, it's worth knowing cold.

Our courses cover current PV interconnection rules, not last cycle's. From $35. No classroom. Since 1995.

⚑ A classic that still trips people up β€” NEC 240.4(D). What's the maximum overcurrent protection allowed for 12 AWG copper, regardless of its ampacity in the table?

A, B, C or D β€” answer before you swipe. People quote the ampacity table and forget the small-conductor rule caps it. It's one of the most-cited basics on residential and commercial jobs alike.

Our courses cover overcurrent protection the way it actually gets enforced. Since 1995. All five states. From $35.

πŸŽ‚ Washington electricians β€” here's the one renewal fact people forget: your certification expires on your birthday, every three years.

No statewide deadline to circle. It's tied to you. And if you miss it, fees double within 90 days and after that you can be looking at re-taking the state exam.

WA requires 24 hours of CE (including NEC and RCW 19.28 hours).
We build all of it, state-specific, and submit once you qualify.
From $35. Since 1995.

🌞 If you're doing solar and battery storage installs in 2026 is your NEC knowledge actually current?

Article 706 has new BMS and SCCR requirements. NFPA 855 is now referenced for systems over 2kWh. And the 690.13 disconnect reference changed.

This work is growing fast across WA, OR, and ID. Our courses cover current NEC 2026 requirements. From $35. No classroom.

🌑️ August heat question β€” NEC 310.15. Conductors running through a 120Β°F attic have to be corrected for ambient temperature. Which factor applies before you can call the ampacity good?

A, B, C or D drop your answer before you swipe. Ambient temperature correction gets skipped on summer attic and rooftop runs all the time, and it's a real citation across WA, ID and MT.

Our courses cover ampacity correction the way it actually works in the field. Since 1995. From $35.

πŸ”Ž Ever wonder where our questions actually come from?

Not a generic national test bank. They come from the confusion inspectors see over and over the same sections that get flagged in the field, year after year, across WA, OR, ID, AK and MT.

That's the difference. A renewal course should close the gaps that cost you on the job, not just tick a box. We've been building them this way since 1995.

Online. No classroom. From $35. We submit the renewal for you.
