A key point is to take advantage of the incredible talent the business has found and recruited on board. That said, if process and technology changes are simply to trim or switch work without regard for value, are they performing this key optimization role?

Many organizations say that people are their most important asset. Yet I've heard HR departments that continue to talk about how they can "waste less time talking to candidates" and continually search for ways to be less personally involved. If people are the most important asset to an organization, then isn't this an area in which to diligently invest both human capital and innovations, so as to maximize talent acquisition? Interesting and look forward to hearing more. Back when I thought I was called to politics, it was in large part because I felt our government showed a lack of the combination of business sense combined with faith; that we needed leaders to engage and demonstrate not just believing, but also DOING good.
