In PA...Starting June 5, cellphone use while operating a (stationary or not) vehicle will result in a summary offense with a $50 fine. Distracted driving was the leading cause of car crashes in Pennsylvania in 2023, leading to the implementation of Paul Miller's Law. The law further requires law enforcement to record biographic data on drivers during traffic stops to avoid bias in policing. All in all, Paul Miller's Law is supporting drivers in all directions, on and off the road.
