Here are the details for local pressure canner gauge testing. If you're not local, check out your closest state extension office website...they might be offering this serves well.

Ready for food preservation season?

Get your pressure canner gauge tested — a free service provided by Extension. Bring the dial gauge canner lid or gauge only. Weighted gauges do not need to be tested.

Drop off your dial gauge to be tested at Good's Stores in

Ephrata, Quarryville, & Schaefferstown:
Dropoff by June 16 and pickup on or after June 18
Dropoff by June 23 and pickup on or after June 25

East Earl:
Dropoff by June 17 and pickup on or after June 19
Dropoff by June 24 and pickup on or after June 26

Bring your dial gauge for in-person testing at Good's Stores in

Ephrata & Schaefferstown on June 17 from 1:00-3:00 PM
East Earl on June 25 from 1:00-3:00 PM

You can also schedule an appointment to have your dial gauge tested at the Lancaster Extension office by calling the office at 717-394-6851.

Shout out to all of our Pick-Up Customers!
We can't re-use our cardboard up fast enough! These boxes are strong and in great condition and could be an excellent solution for shipping larger orders to your end-users or wholesale accounts. We just can't justify tossing them in the recycling bin...and can't use them quickly enough for our own shipping needs.
These are only available to our pick-up customers. While you're here, check out our house-cut accordion packing (if you're passionate about a cleaner cushioning solution) or the large and small bubble wrap.
If one of our warehouse crew isn't in the pick-up room, just ring the doorbell and someone will be with you shortly!
