We are very excited to announce that Chakra has been purchased by Beyond Print Solutions and owner Jim Hall, along with Chakra CEO Joseph Griffin. This lengthy transaction is finally coming to closure and we wanted our loyal customers, vendors and friends to be the first to hear about it! The new company will carry the Beyond Print Solutions name.
A Buffalo-based company, Beyond Print Solutions will occupy Chakra’s current facility at 80 West Dullard Ave. in Lancaster, N.Y., plus an additional 5,000 square feet.
The products, customer care and quality of Chakra will continue, along with the addition of wide-format and specialty printing that Beyond Print Solutions brings to the table. This includes the recent purchase of the Agfa 3200 printer that allows direct printing on substrates up to two inches thick and 10 feet wide. A digital die cutter was also installed that complements the large-format device.
We will be sending out a formal letter as a follow-up to this conversation. An open house at our expanding Lancaster location is being planned for mid-summer, so look for your invitation in the coming weeks.
