IHN HR Human Resources consulting from a Christian perspective. What We Do

We help you develop your Vision, your Mission, and your Core Values.

IHN HR is a human resources outsourcing and consulting firm created to help organizations pilot the complex issues of managing human resources within their organizations. Many business professionals stop there. We take it further- We help you integrate your core values into your Human Resources practices. This will:

Memorialize your standards
Provide guiding principles in all you do
Make your val

ues easily understood by employees
Drive a values-based culture with your customers

We believe that employees who work for an outwardly values based organization are committed at a different level than those in non-values based organizations. Employees are more likely to go the extra mile, to trust their leadership, to deliver on their promises and be led by those who demonstrate servant leadership, because they can! Makes Financial Sense

Leading an Organization with values just makes business sense. Values centered organizations experience:

Lower absenteeism
Higher quality products
Less employee morale issues
Safer work environments
Better perceptions by customers and vendors

Can you stand firm in your faith at work without losing your grace?

Alliance Defending Freedom

Now more than ever, Christians in the workplace are facing mounting challenges. Whether it’s pressure to compromise values, fear of expressing faith, or outright hostility from employers or peers—being a follower of Christ in today’s marketplace takes courage and conviction.

What makes an organization truly Faith Driven?

It starts with the foundation. Mission. Vision. Values. But developing them is only the beginning.

If your Mission, Vision and Values are truly going to guide your organization, they must become part of how you lead and how your people experience the workplace.

They should be integrated into your recruitment process, job descriptions, employee relations, performance reviews, communication, training and development—and ultimately into the decisions you make every day.
This requires more than HR.

The board must believe in the values. The CEO must support them without hesitation. Leadership must understand them. And employees must be brought into the process.

When all of these pieces begin working together, Mission, Vision and Values move beyond words and become the foundation for building a high-performance, Faith Driven Organization.

There are more than 20 opportunities throughout your HR practices to make that alignment real.

Are your Mission, Vision and Values simply stated—or are they truly integrated into how your organization operates?

What happens when an employee brings a concern to one of your supervisors?
Do they listen? Get defensive? Make promises? Try to handle the situation themselves?

This week’s Faith Driven HR News highlights several important reminders for employers:

• Required training, meetings and onboarding time may need to be paid
• Retaliation after an employee complaint can create significant legal exposure
• Employees may have protected rights when discussing workplace concerns together
• Supervisors need to know how to properly receive, document and escalate employee concerns

For Christian organizations, good HR practices are about more than compliance. They are an opportunity to demonstrate integrity, fairness and genuine care for the people entrusted to us Strong leaders listen before they react.

Respect is one of the simplest and most powerful ways to retain great people.

Employees want to know they are valued, heard, and treated with dignity. Compensation matters. Benefits matter. But how people are treated every day matters just as much.

For Christian leaders, respect goes even deeper. Every person we lead is created in the image of God. How we treat them should reflect that truth.

Build a culture where people know they matter.

Your employee handbook isn’t enough.

This week’s Faith Driven HR News looks at several issues every leader should be thinking about:

• Workplace harassment and employer risk
• Accommodation decisions
• Employee and supervisor training
• Why supervisors may be your greatest HR risk—or your greatest strength
• Independent workplace investigations

Strong organizations develop strong leaders. And strong leaders don’t happen by accident.

Building a high-performance organization doesn’t happen by accident. It starts with a strong foundation: Mission, Vision, and Values.

But it can’t stop there.

Your MVV should influence how you recruit, communicate, train, develop job descriptions, build your employee handbook, and hold people accountable.

When your people practices align with your purpose, you create clarity, consistency, and a culture positioned to thrive.
