U.S. CATTLE REPORT 🚨 JBS USA Plans To Close Two Facilities

JBS USA announced plans to close two facilities as part of targeted operational changes aimed at strengthening the company's long-term business. The closures include its beef production facility in Souderton, Pennsylvania, near Philadelphia, and its value-added facility in Memphis, Tennessee.

JBS said the decision will impact employees and local communities, and the company emphasized its commitment to supporting affected team members during the transition. CEO Wesley Batista Filho acknowledged the contributions of workers at both facilities and stated that the company's immediate focus is providing transparency, respect, and access to new opportunities wherever possible as the closures move forward.

Introduced in the early 1960s, it’s a Kenworth S900 which featured a sloped hood for improved visibility, as well as a shorter overall length at 90” bumper to back-of-cab. The S900 wasn’t a big seller in North America but did become popular in Australia.

Please spread the word!!! Correction!!!

Planning on having a big yearling/calf sale on WEDNESDAY, January 15, 2025!

They are all blacks that have been weaned a very long time and off the same ranch, no trader cattle.

-About 330 head off one deal with a nice set of keeper heifers consisting of about 115 head weighing approximately 750, and 115 head of steers weighing about 850.

-Also plan to have 100 head of steers weighing 550-700.
