Recently, 14 mariners were rescued in the Arabian Sea after their vessel began sinking. Upon receiving a distress call from the stranded mariners at approximately 2 a.m. EST, a U.S. Navy P-8 aircraft was first on scene, responded by dropping a UNI-PAC III search and rescue kit that included a life raft, which the 14 mariners boarded.

We’re incredibly proud that a system designed, manufactured, and sustained by LSI played a role in helping bring 14 people home safely.

For our team, this is what it’s all about. Behind every product, every repair, every engineering review, and every quality inspection is a simple purpose: protecting lives when it matters most.

Congratulations to the U.S. Navy 5th Fleet, aircrew, rescue forces, and merchant mariners whose professionalism made this rescue possible. And Congratulations to the entire Life Support International Inc team for continuing to push the boundaries of design, development and sustainment of life saving equipment.

Mission accomplished. Fourteen lives saved.

We are very proud to support the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment as a provider of specialized overwater gear and first aid & survival kits tailored for their special missions. Congratulations 160th! NSDQ!!

Delta Force and soldiers with the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment were involved in the operation to capture Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife in the early hours of Saturday, Task & Purpose has learned.

In a press conference Saturday morning, President Donald Trump said that no U.S. personnel were killed in the attack, which saw airstrikes hit several sites in Venezuela. U.S. special operations forces moved in by helicopter into the capital of Caracas and captured Maduro and his wife Celia Flores. They are now being held on a U.S. Navy ship in the Caribbean.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dan Caine, speaking with Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, said that the attack — Operation Absolute Resolve — was a “culmination of months of planning and rehearsal.”

We’re so proud of our own Christine W. Hussey and Family for summiting Mt Kilimanjaro for the SECOND time in several years! The Hussey’s made the trek to Africa and support local schools by hauling supplies and needed items from USA to Tanzania. Also, Christine is raising awareness for ovarian cancer as she’s a survivor!

In her own words:

“Today marks nine years from hearing the words nobody ever wants to hear, "You have cancer." Every year since, this date takes me on an emotional Rollercoaster. I am so grateful to be alive.

Today may just be another day to most, but to me, this day helped me learn to live fully and reset priorities. You are healthy until you are not, so please don't ever take your health for granted. Know the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer and ladies, MAKE the time to put your health first.

As a stage IV ovarian cancer survivor, I WILL summit Mt. Kilimanjaro for the second time within three years in hopes of inspiring other women to dig deep and find strength they never knew they had. If I can do it, so can anyone else.

Life is precious, don't let it ever pass you by.
