Its been a while since my last post' I just want to say that within the circle of followers of Jesus Christ we have hope and peace even during these times of trouble. We are watching the following happen, The US government not able to govern, the end of the so called two party system which I predicted many years ago, and its starting to unravel this week. We see the rumors of wars and Israel now being attacked and looks like will be fighting a two to three front war. we see Russia and China forming the powers of the north and the east as scripture mentions in the last days. WOW, we also see economic issues, enegy issues, and soon will see food supply and tech issues as more workers and unions will strike here in the US to further bring about the collapse of our nation as we know it today. whats the time frame, no one knows but again if your in business, if you are a believer in Jesus Christ, then stand firm, trust in Him, not in this world.

A representative in Congress this morning said regarding the Speaker issue on the house of representatives that "Jesus Christ couldn't get the 217 votes needed to become the speaker" I say this is just the beginning sign of whats to come.

Here is my bottom line, Jesus Christ does not need 217 votes, He is the God of all creation! He is the Kings of Kings! he is the one that that will come a second time! He is the one that will defeat the devil and the antichrist, and He is the one that all nations and all people will bow down on their knees, and will acknowledge Him as God!

Keep the faith, Trust in Him, He is greater than anything in this world. Amen!

This week I am reminded that we need to take time every day and be available to read Gods word, pray for the people around us, and most importantly take time with your spouse. Life is busy and we have many things calling for our time and energy, our children, grand children, church, jobs, other civic groups, scouts, etc...
As business people focused on your business, remember that if we invite the Lord in to be our business partner and ask for His wisdom, guidance, and allow Him to help steer the ship, then we will have a business built on His truth, and He will use it to further His kingdom in both big and small ways. However if we run ahead or rely on worldly wisdom and academia then we take our business out from under the protection he provides. James 1:5 says that if any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously, to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.
I know for myself I need to ask for more of Him and less of me when it comes to my decisions and my time.

Good evening all my friends,

This page has been down for a few years as I was busy and focused on my job in NJ. Traveling and living in NJ during the week was tough. I learned many things that I knew already but at times God keeps throwing it right back into your pathway to deal with. I am now retired from my 30+ years working in the non-profit world.
I have started a new career which I was with many years ago, that being insurance. (still got to make a living ..lol...)
I will be starting up this page to get back to sharing with you that as businesspeople, as Christians, we must always be including God in our plans, for He is the one who guides our footsteps and our thoughts as to what he wants. I hope that all of you will plug in on a weekly basis and feel free to share. I will say this, the following will not be the focus of our discussion:
> Politics - God is not political, He is above it all!
> Race - we are all human beings created in God's image
> Religion - I will be sharing and inviting encouragement from Christians as to how God is working in our businesses and lives.
> Debate on world issues. ( they are what they are and only God controls the future and the timing off all things here on this earth and in Heaven!!!!!

What A World!

Many look around our world today and ask what has happened and why?

I must first express that History continues to repeat itself in many many ways.

Though our world has changed a lot and there is so much technological advances within the last 45 years, our world is very much pretty much the same.

There are still political unrest through out the world, the Middle East, The Asian block, Europe, and of course the region of Germany and Russia.

Things seem to be lining up as they once were before World War II.

The interesting thing that seemed to really catch everyone's attention was the official position of the United States on the capital of Israel.

Jerusalem is and will always be the center of the conflict between Truth and lie, Good and evil, Justice and injustice. It is the center of what has been and will be the final conflict of this world as we know it today.

Those who believe in Scripture know what is told of the coming of the age. those who don't or decide to ignore it and walk away as if it was a fairy tale, are blind and deceived by the father of lies.

I celebrate the birth of our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ and will celebrate His sacrifice for us that gives us hope and salvation from an eternal separation from God.

I also know that He will come again in power, in righteousness, an with supernatural power that will make our nuclear power look like a tiny toy. All nations will bow down and will acknowledge who he truly is. The living God, the I AM, The Creator.

I have hope because I see and understand what is falling in place around us. Many see the world falling apart and in chaos, I see a world being re-shaped and things falling in place for the 2nd coming of Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior!

Thanksgiving in Heart & Mind:

Now that Thanksgiving is over, and the radio stations are playing Christmas music one can be caught up in the excitement and rushing that comes with the commercialization part of Christmas. The Big sales!, the food, the decorations and of course the soon arrival of Santa.

As we enter this time, we may very well participate in all of this because of family traditions, however, we need to remember and stay focused on the one true reason for this "holiday season" the birth of our savior Jesus Christ.

I just saw this past week, the saying that said, Only in America, we give thanks one day for our blessings and what we have and the next day rush out shop for things we don't have.

Take time this Christmas and look for those who are feeling down, those who are struggling, those who are homeless and hungry and those who seem to feel they have reached the end.

Become the hands, the feet, the ears of our Lord and reach out as Jesus would and lend a helping hand.

Good morning, I have decided that within the next week or so, I will be renaming this page. It has been 5 years since I decided to close out my consulting for nonprofit/strategic planning. As many of you have noticed that I have shifted to sharing my thoughts as a Christian businessperson. I decided to keep this going because as a Christian I still have my views and my opinions and will share them when ever i feel it may have an impact. As I shift more of my time to my local church and to ministry overall, this page will become a page that will continue to encourage, a strong Christian view point on the values and Truth of the Scriptures as it relates to our living in a world that is so chaotic and how should we as business people and individuals work and represent Christ in what ever we do. Division of a Country

This past weekend our country entered a new level of division. Its a division that goes back to the early stages of our country's birth but it is the same division that has been with mankind since recorded history.

Historians without a political agenda will re-affirm that the division of race, religion, and ethnic origin has been a point of division as long as man has been recording history. It was what drove the battles and conquests of the great roman empire, to the great world wars 1 & 2. It was what created the slave markets that existed in Africa, the middle east, and in Europe ranging back to Biblical times to even today in the Islamic world.

Our country is not unique, it is simply running its course just as many other world powers have for the last 20 plus centuries. See one must understand history, sociology, and even religion to be able to step back and understand why our world is the way it is today. With that understanding and knowledge of our past and understanding of what is foretold of our future, we will understand and acknowledge that indeed there is a God.

You may say, WHAT! and your anger may start to build up with what i just said, but the Truth is very very obvious. If one just stops, quiet themselves, listens and observes everything that is happening around us, it is clear that mankind is not able to accomplish a lasting peace, govern with honesty and fairness nor with mutual respect. Man despite any scientific or academia achievements or accomplishments of wealth, modernization, or exploration even in space still results in a hurting, messed up, poverty stricken world with bitterness, hatred and greed being the masters of our hearts.

Our country was never perfect, and yes as History will look upon our nation and weight the actions of our country one can argue and believe that our nation did many things to help bring stability and unity to a world that was about to destroy itself, and yet ushered in a new era of world conflict and yes, fulfillment of biblical prophecy.

We are a world that needs a savior, and that Savior is Jesus Christ! You may not believe it, but history, current events, and the condition of our society as a whole points to it. You see the facts point to it, if you understand history, and you understand Truth. Everything from governments, currency, even our scientific principles and theories are changing and even being re-written and updated, but one thing that has not changed, and will not change even though man has tried, is the Word of God.

I welcome the coming events with open arms, I welcome what God has put into place, because my inner joy is not of this world nor of my life her in this great country of the United states, but it is in my faith and belief in Jesus Christ my Savior and Lord of my life, and of this world!

Strife, Anxiety, Bo***ge and more!

Today there are many many people who seem to be getting themselves in the worldly trap of getting in debt, getting out of shape and are full of strife and anxiety. I can identify because I once had done the same, as a matter of fact I did it twice only to find that what I was looking for was not of this world but something that only a personal relationship with Jesus Christ could fulfill.

I went after the power and fame, I went after the big career and the money only to find that God allowed it to slip away because I was walking away from Him and doing my thing.

I see the ugly cycle, first the "independence", then the "I know what I am doing", then comes the "I do not need advice or Godly Council" and walk away from the church and eventually from ones faith.

Then the anxiety comes and the strife, then the bo***ge that sets in because now you have fallen into a trap that just starts to move you in an endless circle.

Our focus is no longer on God but on us and the circumstances around us. we worry, we build up anxiety, and it will start to send us in a downward cycle of hopelessness.

We need to take the example that Jesus gave us. In the hour of such worry, strife, anxiety, and hopelessness, one needs to find their faith, pray, look to God, and take your focus off yourself, instead realize there are many who are worst off then you, many who have not had half the things you have had, and are indeed in bo***ge to sin and are lost.

You see, God created this world and he has a plan for all of us.
Don't let this world and the false pressure of success or other worldly things get in the way, allow God to change your life and use you to glorify His Kingdom!
