We're excited to welcome David Randall to the Eng. team!

David graduated from Hope College with a degree in Civil Engineering and joins us as a Staff Engineer. As he transitions from student life into his career, he's looking forward to growing professionally and learning from the talented engineers around him.

When asked what drew him to Eng., David said, “The thing that appealed to me most about Eng. was the opportunity to do meaningful work in a small team environment where everybody can contribute something.”

After growing up in Boston, David is a big supporter of all things Boston sports—especially the Bruins. Outside of work, he also enjoys all forms of skiing, whether it's on a boat or a mountain.

We’re excited to share that Eng., Inc. has been selected by the City of Midland for the W. Sugnet Road Bridge Replacement project!

Bridge projects bring together many of the things our team enjoys most — thoughtful infrastructure design, water resources considerations, coordination with multiple stakeholders, and ultimately creating a safer, more reliable connection for the community.

We’re grateful to the City of Midland for the opportunity and the trust placed in our team, and we look forward to getting to work.

Progress is taking shape on a new 3-mile pathway project in the City of Portage!

Recent work has included asphalt paving and construction of the new boardwalk, two very different pieces that together create a safe, accessible connection for the community.

Eng., Inc. is proud to have provided the engineering design for the project and to continue supporting the City through construction oversight.

There’s something especially rewarding about seeing a project move from plans on paper to infrastructure people will be able to enjoy for years to come.

Investing in great people is one of the best investments we can make for our clients. That's why we're excited to welcome Sam Miles, P.S., to the Eng. team as our Survey Manager.

Sam earned his Bachelor of Science in Survey Engineering from Ferris State University and brings years of professional surveying experience to our growing team. As we continue expanding our surveying services throughout Michigan, his leadership and technical expertise will strengthen our ability to deliver exceptional service and help clients move projects forward with confidence.

When asked why he chose Eng., Sam shared: "I saw an opportunity to do meaningful work, continue growing professionally, and be part of a team that's committed to making a positive impact in the communities we serve."

Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending time with his family, coaching his son's sports teams, cheering on the Detroit Tigers, and getting outdoors to play pickleball and golf.

We're excited to welcome Beau Orchard to the team! Beau graduated from Calvin University with a degree in Energy, Environmental, and Sustainability Engineering and joins Eng. as a Staff Engineer.

When asked why he chose Eng., Beau shared that the firm's small-team culture really stood out to him. He was drawn to an environment where people know and support one another, communicate openly, and take pride in delivering thoughtful, reliable work. He also appreciated Eng.'s commitment to excellence and collaborative approach to success.

He's looking forward to learning from the team, growing in his career, and contributing to projects that make a meaningful impact on local communities. Outside of work, Beau enjoys spending time in nature, exploring new places, rock climbing, and going to the beach with his dogs.

One of the biggest contributors to a successful development project isn't something you see after construction is complete.

It's the work that happens early.

Understanding approval requirements. Identifying site constraints. Anticipating challenges before they impact schedule, budget, or constructability.

We’re excited to welcome Dylan Panozzo to the Eng. team! Dylan has completed two years at Muskegon Community College and will be transferring to Ferris State University to continue pursuing his degree in Construction Management.

This summer, he’s looking forward to learning more about construction and surveying while gaining valuable hands-on experience through his internship. Outside of work, Dylan enjoys golfing, yard work, and helping others whenever he can. We’re excited to have Dylan on board and look forward to seeing him grow in his career!
