The CAMC will maintain a strong workforce development group consisting of senior level HR managers that will address important issues facing employers such as:
• The rising cost of healthcare benefits
• Employee engagement
• Expansion of apprenticeships programs
• Establishing training programs
• Compensation structure
• Finding and retaining skilled workers

Skills & Responsibilities:
- This plant has very little downtime.
- Manufacturing experience is required, along with the ability to work in a very hot environment (temperatures can reach up to 100 degrees in the summer).
- Refine the frame after it has been stamped
- Add nuts, bolts, and clips to the frame
- Lift up to 30 pounds or less
- Steel toe boots, long jeans, and long sleeve shirts are required

Eastern Michigan University’s Great Lakes OSHA Education Center has received a FY 2026 OSHA Susan Harwood Targeted Topic Training Grant to expand no-cost safety training for warehousing and distribution operations across the U.S.

Warehousing is one of the fastest-growing and highest-risk industries!

We are looking for businesses that can benefit from this FREE, 8-hour on-site training delivered at their location (up to 30 people). To participate, fill out this interest form.
