Reservations for the MPA 2026 Annual Convention are available to be booked at the group rate for stays from April 22, 2026, to April 24, 2026. This special rate is only available for booking until March 23, 2026.

You must cancel your reservation 48 hours prior to the day of arrival to avoid the penalty of the full reservation charged to your credit card.

Registration for this year's MPA Annual Convention is now open.
If you register before January 31, we will take an additional $25 off the early bird pricing, member's only.

We are finalizing plans for a great event including a luncheon forum featuring candidates for governor in MI, a session on the First Amendment and how to protect Freedom of the Press, AI in the ad room and the newsroom and many other sessions.

We'll also be hosting an expanded awards ceremony on Thursday night.

A handful of county-level officials who were involved in a small-town Kansas newspaper raid in 2023 will pay a cumulative $3 million to three journalists and a city councilor.
