Downtown is getting kinda Spooky!

The Giant Green Squirrel of Amble is a famous local urban legend and Michigan Cryptid from the tiny unincorporated community of Amble, Michigan.

Witnesses describe the creature as massive, ranging from the size of a small cow to an entire 1972 Buick car.

Appearance: It features vibrant green fur. Reports on its eye color change wildly from person to person, spanning red, yellow, blue, and brown.

Sound: It makes the normal chirps, grunts, and squeaks of an ordinary squirrel, but they are loud enough to echo across the hills and valleys of the community.

Sightings: The creature is said to appear only at night under a dark sky with a slim sliver of a moon.

Local folklore humorously notes that sightings usually happen when witnesses are heavily intoxicated.
