This morning, Webb County Commissioners Court approved a 90-day burn ban order for all outdoor burning in unincorporated areas of Webb County commencing August 24, 2026.

A violation of this order is a Class C misdemeanor, punishable by a fine not to exceed $500.00.

Laredo Police seek information regarding a Hit-and-Run Incident Reported in La Bota Ranch.

On Friday, June 20, 2026, at approximately 9:52 p.m., a dark-colored pickup truck struck a parked vehicle and fled the scene without stopping to provide information. The collision caused extensive damage to the right passenger side of the vehicle.

If anyone has any information about this truck or who drives it, they are asked to contact the Laredo Police Department at 956-795-2800 or Crime Stoppers at 727- TIPS. All calls will remain anonymous.
