They say money doesn’t buy happiness.

But I’ve lived long enough to know that’s only half true.

When I was deployed in Iraq as a young combat vet, I saw firsthand what it looks like when families have nothing.

No security. No opportunities. No peace of mind. That changed how I think about money forever.

Later, as a Certified Financial Planner and wealth manager, I worked with families on both ends of the spectrum.

Some made a lot and still felt empty.

Others didn’t earn much, but when they had enough to cover the essentials, their homes were calmer, their marriages stronger, and their lives lighter.

Now, as a multimillionaire and father of four, money means something different.

It gives me the freedom to choose how I spend my time.

It lets me coach my kids’ teams instead of grinding 70-hour weeks.

It allows my wife and I to take our family on adventures and create memories they’ll never forget.

It lets me give generously to causes I care about.

No, money doesn’t buy happiness.

But it buys freedom.
It buys peace of mind.
It buys choices.

And if you use it wisely, money creates a life you don’t need a vacation from.
