🚨🚨BREAKING NEWS: HERE WE GO AGAIN….Personal Recognizance Bond Granted for Daniel Palomo after Being Arrested for Racing on a Highway Overnight

DANIEL PALOMO JR. went in and out of jail after a local Judge granted him a PR Bond when he arrived at the County Jail overnight. A PR Bond can only be granted by a Judge for release of a Defendant behind bars. Normally, these bonds are provided to those who have no criminal history and/or are arrested for minor crimes. The bond was set at $2,000.

Palomo has a criminal history and is presently on probation. He pled guilty in April to Aggravated Assault Felony 2 and was sentenced to 5 years probation after assaulting a man at a gas station.

Laredo Police has not released the facts relating to the racing charge or whether an accident occurred.

🚨 🚨Judge Rejects Cuellar’s Attempt to Dismiss Fraud Charges; Trial Delayed Until Spring 2026

New court filings reveal a federal judge has denied Congressman Henry Cuellar’s request to dismiss two counts of conspiracy to commit honest services wire fraud.

Cuellar and his wife argued the law was too vague and overlapped with other bribery charges — but the court sided with prosecutors.

Meanwhile, the government has agreed to delay the trial, though it’s pushing back on the defense’s claims about mishandled evidence, calling them “inaccurate and misleading.”

Prosecutors say the delay is needed to resolve major legal questions that will shape how both sides prepare. Meantime, a pretrial hearing is set for August 14 to address several motions.
