Position Summary
We are seeking motivated and dependable Fire Sprinkler Fitters to join our team. Candidates with 5+ years of experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
∙ Install, repair, and maintain fire sprinkler systems according to blueprints and specifications
∙ Lead teams & coordinate with general contractors/trades on site.
∙ Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects safely and efficiently
∙ Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
∙ Occasionally travel for out-of-town projects (expenses covered)
∙ Maintain a professional and reliable work ethic on all job sites
∙ Calling in project inspections when ready
∙ Keep track of materials- verifying order counts at delivery or pick up.

Qualifications
∙ 5+ years of verifiable fire sprinkler installation experience
(Less than 5 years for apprentice/ entry level positions)
∙Must have a valid Driver’s License
∙ Must pass a drug screening
∙ Ability to work out of town on occasion is a plus
∙ Experience with Sprinkler Systems and Sprinkler installations
∙ Proficiency with Hand Tools necessary for installation and repair
∙ Knowledge of Life Safety standards and protocols
∙ Experience with Pipe installation and alignment
∙ Attention to detail and ability to perform tasks accurately
∙ Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
∙ Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
∙ Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
∙ Relevant certifications and training are beneficial
∙ Knowledge of Codes for installation

Observe the Moments of Silence With Us
Every year as part of the official commemoration ceremony held at the World Trade Center for victims' families, we observe six moments of silence marking the key events of 9/11.

8:46 a.m.: Hijackers deliberately crashed American Airlines Flight 11 into floors 93 through 99 of the North Tower.

9:03 a.m.: Hijackers deliberately crashed United Airlines Flight 175 into floors 77 through 85 of the South Tower.

9:37 a.m.: Hijackers deliberately crashed American Airlines Flight 77 into the Pentagon, near Washington, D.C.

9:59 a.m.: The South Tower collapsed.

10:03 a.m.: After learning of the other attacks, passengers on United Airlines Flight 93 launched a counterattack on hijackers aboard their plane to try to seize control of the aircraft. In response, the hijackers crashed the plane into an empty field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

10:28 a.m.: The North Tower collapsed, leaving the 16-acre World Trade Center site in ruins and collateral damage affecting all adjacent properties and streets. The rescue effort commenced immediately.

Today we remember the many lost and support all those who survived including all the Men & Women who risked their lives in rescue efforts and defend Our country.

Together we stand United as One Nation under God indivisible with Justice for all!

"What inspired me to pursue a career in the fire protection and sprinkler industry is the unique opportunity to combine hands-on construction work with a meaningful impact on life safety. This field allows me to contribute directly to protecting people and property, knowing that the systems we install and maintain play a critical role in saving lives and minimizing damage. Being part of an industry that prioritizes safety while requiring technical skill and precision is what motivates me every day."

Which hands-on skills or tasks have you enjoyed the most? Why?

"The hands-on tasks I enjoy the most are building risers and working with different types of fire protection systems for various hazards. I take pride in assembling risers because they represent the quality and organization of the entire system. Even after the piping is concealed, a well-built riser reflects craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of the installation. To me, the riser serves as a clear indicator of the integrity and professionalism of the work throughout the building."

What advice would you give to a student considering the fire sprinkler trade?

"My advice to a student considering the fire sprinkler trade is to get excited about the impact you can make. This isn’t just another trade—it’s one where your work directly protects lives. While other trades focus on how a building looks, we are responsible for how it performs in a real emergency, and that’s something to be proud of. Every job is different, whether you’re working at heights, installing complex systems, or being part of the final stages that allow a building to open to the public. There is a lot of variety, responsibility, and opportunity to grow. If you enjoy hands-on work, learning new skills, and being part of something that truly matters, this trade can be both exciting and very rewarding."
