From May 18 through June 6, Pinellas County Utilities will temporarily switch from chloramine to chlorine as part of routine system maintenance. You may notice a slight change in taste or smell—this is normal during this process.

You may notice a slight change in taste or smell, but water remains safe, meets all standards, and service will not be affected. This routine maintenance benefits customers in Pinellas Park and surrounding areas.
**Kidney dialysis patients should not be impacted but, as a precaution, can contact their dialysis care provider for more information about chlorine disinfection.
***Fish owners should not be affected if they already have a system to remove chloramines but should contact local pet suppliers with any questions.
